Cool People Stay Hydrated!

I cannot exist in the Summer months if I am not hydrated, migraines and loss of concentration are my body’s way of saying – ‘Drink water, I am melting’ and I have learnt in my late twenties that there is no getting around it! Which is why I like to drink between 2-3 litres a day.

While this is all well and good, I don’t like unfiltered tap water for various reasons, that I mentioned in my last water blog so I liked to cut down on plastic by using a water filter jug instead of buying plastic water bottle all of the time, which is why I use BWT’s 2.7litre water jug. It is slim, so it fits in the fridge easily and it is really fast filtering which means I don’t have to wait a century for water, which for someone who drinks as much water as I do, is heaven!

The jugs come in a variety of colours, I have previously had the green one but this time I chose the dark blue which is stylish and with an electronic gauge on the top it lets me know when I need to change my water filter, without any hassle.

As well as looking the part this jug also gives you a boost of magnesium in the water while it filters out all of the nasties you may find in tap water too, so it is a win-win all round and it has been such a great addition to my fridge because whenever I go to look in the fridge for something to eat (often), I remind myself to drink water too!

Being hydrated is so important and I think it is so worth investing in a jug that will not only ensure you are drinking water but well-filtered water too. Whether you drink a lot of water anyway but want to cut down on plastic use like me, or you don’t drink enough water and want to change your habits, I highly recommend this filter jug! You can get 20% off using my code ‘CoolPeopleStayHydrated’  so it is well worth checking them out and getting yourself a jug!
