Last week I popped along to Rhythm Kitchen for some food that was absolutely delicious, though a complete conversation killer, as we both ate out dinner in complete silence, enjoying every mouthful. We attempted to share, though this offer was not extended for long.
Between us having the Veg Curry with Basmati Rice and roti along with the Ragga Stew with rice and peas. This place is the ultimate rest bite from the relentless Stratford Westfield, serving great food with a smile.
The vegetable curry was so tasty it was mild but with just enough spice to give it a kick and full of tasty veggies as you would expect, cooked well, so was the rice it was served with. The roti was perfect and accompanied the dishes so well.
The Ragga stew was my dish, one I was reluctant to share, but I wanted to try the curry so badly I had to play fair! Again a mild dish but packed full of flavour with bean, plantain and their very own home made dumplings, this was a hearty dish that left me feeling full. Which is not a status I claim to be often.
Washed down with our usual favourites, Ting and Ginger Beer, it was time to make a move but not before bursting into conversation once more and decided on when to return and would order the dishes the other way round or order more sides and share. The debate is still ongoing but will be sure to blog again about this Westfield Stratford find. Perfect for a pick me up when Xmas shopping!
